Quest Issue: The Summoning of Fright

Created human/inny cleric on blue server and did this quest without any problems.

I then tried to do the same quest on the pvp server and I was scowled at by the "Avatar of Fright"

It killed me , lost all my items etc, and im stuck with a useless mundane helm now.

Does the rest of the hierarchy of Cazic Thule in Paineel scowl at you too?

is that the faction he is on ? seems the skeleton guards scowl at me and every1 else is indifferent

Paineel faction was changed around recently, so that's why you can't do it now when it was doable before. I'm not sure what exact faction the Avatars are on if you aren't KoS to the rest of Paineel, but Kunark era posts on Allakhazam suggest you just need to raise your Heretics faction to do the quest.

Yes Cymbal, if you want to complete one of the highest rituals of the Heretics of Paineel, I suggest you get in good with them first.

You may fool many of the current citizens, but you can't trick a child of Cazic Thule himself into thinking you are a true Heretic deep in the wisdom of Fear and Terror.....

(Paineel/Heretics being worked on, but your combo is/will be KOS regardless without proper faction work. Please make sure you have the proper faction before attempting quests.)
