So, quick question for some of you Pvp vets. Iv'e never played on a pvp server at all just blue, but im considering rolling on red99, i was planning on making an SK soon on blue so i thought i might just go ahead and make one on red instead. How viable is SK on PvP servers, am i going to get destroyed by casters as a new player? I kinda want to play a melee but if im just going to get dominated constantly id rather roll another class.

all casters dominate all melee at first. Eventually the melee catch up and maybe even pass casters at least by velious.

If you have pals to lvl with you will be fine, or just make some friends in the starting area. PS innothule is going to be an absolute shit fest so get ready for that if you're going troll/ogre. SK is arguably the most op pvp class once geared and played with more than 25 iq. obvy casters will shit down your throat until you have some resists and a 2hander that can do work (get gatorsmash asap).
TL;DR if you like sk, play sk because pvp will be a blast.

SKs are top class if played correctly and geared decently!
I remember Celestine owning everything until late velious!
