Default Changed a few settings, pet accuracy plummeted

In an effort to get rid of the slow-motion bug that sometimes occurs with dual core processors, I changed my EQ compatibility mode to Windows 1995. It wouldn't run at all (I have windows 7) so I just said screw it and that I'll deal with it. In doing this, it completely wiped all my settings, I had to realign my bars, refilter things, adjust backgrounds, make new hotkeys, etc.

To my knowledge I put all filters back to the previous settings. One glaringly large change which seems to have occurred is that after I changed the compatibility mode to '95 and back my pet's accuracy has completely fell. I'm talking less than 10% per an entire fight. Alternatively, some of my pet's attacks were not appearing in my logs at all, although I could tell he was doing damage because the monster was losing health. I don't know if that issue is some sort of problem with him being out of my range or whatnot.

The biggest issue I'd like some input with is the problem with my pet's accuracy. Has anyone noticed a significant change with it after modifying your game at all? My toon is a level 22 necro. Before I messed with the settings my pet was hitting much, much more.

Thanks!

update: my pet is definitively doing damage, although it will only appear in my logs when i am in a certain range. is there anyway to fix this so it always appears?
