Default guys life with no internet sucks

i moved and when they came to connect my internet it turns out the newly renovated house had the wrong cabling in the entire place, and i had to yell at german people all day for like three days straight til they finally ran a cable up the outside of the building, bored a hole through the wall, and ran it into my room.

German people!

Must suck to live in a third world country. I just moved and had cable/internet within 20 mins of closing on the house

Everything I've heard about Germany has been good.

Way to fucking ruin it for me Karsten!

I want to travel Europe, but the only two languages I have a grasp on enough to communicate are French and Spanish. :\

Those are sketchy now, too. I haven't had to use either in years.

you only need to know English, Harrison.

everywhere you go, just learn the basics on the train/plane before you arrive, but english is spoken everywhere in europe really. even the smaller countries in the east.

if you're serious, doing it via inter-rail on the train is cool. used to be cheaper than it is now, but you still get to see all of europe without missing bits by being thousands of feet up in the air.

Baby on the way, so all of my traveling is kaput for the time being. Canceled my re-scheduled thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail next year [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
