Default Cindl's Polar Bear Collection

This quest: http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=224 gave very good experience during classic and at least through Kunark. I cannot give you precise numbers, but I once levelled a druid to 29 on nothing but this and bone chips in Kaladim and this quest was actually better experience (for one Polar Bear Pelt) than Kaladim for 4 bone chips.

I did it today at level 2 and my exp bar barely budged - at most a blue of experience for 3 turnins. If you read some of the comments on the alla's thread, one person references getting 4 yellows of exp at level 3 for 3 turn-ins. That is more in line with what I remember.

Again, I have no way to give precise numbers, but it was better than Kaladim bone chips - I just don't remember how much better.

Indeed. the Polar Bear skin quests used to rock on live.

Also The barb. Rogue armor quests (mammoth Calf Hides) is currently bugged, and just gives the Mail(chest) piece every time. not too bad since it sells to vendor for 6p, but still... would be nice if these quests returned to how their supposed to work on live.

Its the same problem with most newbie quests in many of the cities, including the bone chips, CB Belts in Kaladim. The quest exp. is mega nerfed on p99 compared to live.
Used to be able to lvl chars to at least 16 on bone chips in kaladim, before each turnin started to give less than a nudge .. or in numbers, less than 1% exp. per 4 chips. Did this with most of my alts on live

The drawback is you don't gain skills when doing this, and kinda sucks to have a mid lvl char with lvl 1 melee or casting skills, but many did this on live.

I just asumed since they removed the tumpy quests too, that they didn't want people to be able to just "buy" PL'ing if you had enough money to either make tumpy tonics, or buy bonechips/CB belts, and hence went on lvl'ing the normal way, killing stuff [You must be logged in to view images. Kaladim bone chips may have been nerfed to some extent, but they still give pretty good exp for low levels. This quest though (polar bear skins) has been nerfed almost out of existence in terms of exp. There's also Wrath orc wristbands with Cindl, which I remember being even better in terms of exp. I haven't had a chance to try that one yet.

It's very difficult trying to pin down the amount of experience that various quests used to give, as almost all the old boards don't go back that far. I just know that this one is way, way out of line from what it was.

Ya, i know. i tried it myself. The polar bear skins give a tiny tiny amount of exp. pre lvl 4.
You can get a 1% exp. raise by turning in 4 or 5.
you used to be able to lvl from 1 to 2 with maybe 4 skins.

Wrath Orc wristbands is also nerfed. hardly noticeable exp. turning in at lvl 3.

Goblin necklaces (Warrior guild) 6 pieces in sack + combine. Still give a fair amount of exp..

Gnoll tooth's (warrior guild) also gives a nice pot of exp.

Wich makes you wonder why Cindl's quests don't give any exp.

Finally got some decent numbers for these quests. A level 2 barbarian gets just under a yellow per turn in of polar bear skins. The wristbands give significantly more.

Fixed, pending update.
