I can't recall, are ip exemptions on account or IP?
I used to have one to play with my bro, both accounts are sort of mine but one contains recreations of his characters, so on the rare occasions he wants to play with me we can. Requested exemption years ago, got it. But I also have a third account, I'm not sure if that's included or needs to be asked for separately? I also want to one day soon play with my wife, she wont like it forever probably but I'd like to do a series where we play the games from each others childhoods. She could use one of the 3 accounts but that goes back to my second question. Finally, I don't like having the exemption most of the time, I once got in trouble year ago for using /q but crashed and it looked like I had two chars in game, or well I did I suppose, didn't interact with them, 30 day ban overturned at the time with a warning. So the exemption can give you the rope to hang yourself with as it looks like you are abusing the exemption. After returning after years, one account got a temp warning when the other crashed recently and I switched to that instead, totally diff chars and zones, made me wonder if my IP exemption had expired. I knew trading or buffing yourself is not ok, but it wasn't until I actually just stumbled upon my old petition it refreshed my memory of what is allowed or not. So I wonder if that warning temp ip block I'd never seen before is a sign I don't have an exemption anymore? but it could also be because one of the accounts was my newer third one maybe? My final question is due to the above I kinda don't want it all the time, but I understand they take a long time to grant? So if the stars ever align and me and the missus wanna record or stream we'd need it in advance? Any info/advice or answers to these questions would be appreciated. | ||
