Default how heavy are you monks who use a tstaff?

i'm at 24 stones[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

most likely due to GoP, Idol of Thorned. should i replace those or are the stats worth the extra weight? (+22STR, +10STA)

It depends on what you're doing, and if you can handle gear switching.

If you're just doing DPS, then your AC and the weight, doesn't matter. If you're pulling, you don't need the tstaff equipped anyways, so take it off. If you're tanking, then I'd look to swap out some heavier gear for lesser-quality, but lighter.

I'm not sure what's going on with the monk weight limit at the moment. A little while ago it got nerfed so that anything over 14 stones put you over the limit. But the rumor was that it still went up at like 50 and 60, or something. Then people are saying the client is reporting one thing, but the server uses something different, so if you're over 14 you're still boned.

It shouldn't be too much longer in the "original timeline" that monk weight started scaling, but I don't know where we are in that timeline, or if they're paying attention and are going to be fixing it or not.

Was looking for the dev post that says the first increase went in but couldn't find it. I did read it though so current weight limits are 14 until 55, 18 until 60, and 22 at level 60.

Incorrect. In the next-to-last patch notes, Kanras writes: "Monk weight limit reduced to 14 for all levels."
