Crashing on loading screen frequently.

About 20-30% of the time I try to hit a loading screen (either when logging in/out of a character, or zoning), my game will freeze.

When logging out, it will occasionally give me an error message. When logging in or zoning, it will not. It will just freeze until I manually close the game.

I have tried running on one core, with high affinity, in service pack 2 and 3 compatibility mode, all with administrator mode on.

I have tried wind3d, it did not help. The voodoo one gives me virus messages.

I do not have texture caching enabled.

I did not have this problem when I played a year ago, however I was using an intel processor (13900k) whereas now I am using an amd 9800x3d. I am not using a new UI mod or anything, so unless an update made my old UI mod unstable, my new processor made it unstable, or a new patch made it unstable, I am at a loss to what might be causing these problems.

I would like any advice on how to solve this.
