Just dropping in here first to say hello.

Haven't played EQ since Kunark so a bit excited to check this out.

Is the server very active?

The most populated server is Green, about ~700 prime time these days. I would say around 9 EST.

If you're referring to playing in Kunark as in classic live kunark and have never played on P99 then you will find the servers here considerably less active than what you recall starting out (less people in starting zones, less people grouping for experience and leveling, virtaully no time spent looking for an available camp). Because of this the player base has mostly naturally aligned on 1-2 zones for any given level range that people can go to group for exp.

As mentioned green is the newest and therefore most active of the 3 servers for P99 and it seems the majority of the player base is on Eastern Standard time so primetime mostly coinicides with that time zone.

Because the servers are several years old and progression is locked to velious you will find the vast majority of the player base has one or more lvl 60 characters and that most server activity is centered around raiding, with multiple guilds capable of killing the hardest mobs on the server at any given moment. A lot of the new character creation is existing players creating new alts. If you remember fungi tunics being the pinnacle of twinking a character back in the day, its been taken to a whole other level on P99.

Also green got the highest population OP if "best pop" is in your criteria.

Please play on the Green Server if you are new here. It is better than the Blue Server because it has more players. They might end up merging Blue and Green in some years but noone really knows. New players usually play on Green Server. Red Server is for PVP.
