Autohotkey

Does anyone know if autohotkey is allowed in order to force remapping of keys? I have an issue with my L) hand which makes using a regular keyboard difficult so I use a programmable keypad. The only issue is that since win 11 dropped I have to use AHK to remap the keys.

Is there a blanket ban on having autohotkey scripts running in the background regardless of what they do?
