eq jumped the shark long ago with luclin let's not pretend anything they do after that is all of a sudden bad. It has been open season for terrible stuff since 2002.
Though I admit the texture work on that rabbit is pretty dope. | ||

Brad was heavily involved in Luclin and a big proponent for finishing it..They never let him.
I doubt Brad would be supermad about the rabbits. Probably the lions tho. Luclin had some of the games best lore. It just didn't fit as well as Kunark. It could have been much better. The aliens where probably it's weakest point and could have been replaced by some sort of Goblins to bring it back in line. The combine empire story arch was sadly postponed until much later and also combined with the snake peoples arcs... there's some crossover there good or bad. Can't say it was good for the expansions to be watered down.

I'm just being a curmudgeon I played luclin when it launched like most of us did, there were many parts of it I liked. Vanilla-velious is perfection in my mind though so I like to go to bat for it, and for some reason it's at odds with everything that came after so I gotta pick a team.
I was so excited when luclin launched, my dreams were just a bit dashed by some aspects of the content. If the vahshir just looked like the normal cats in kerra isle it would have been fine, but they had to make them into like beefy anime furries and just.... yeck. | ||

Same goes for whatever expansion it was that added frogloks as a playable race. I was so excited. But it was some stupid new model that sucked. I thought it was just gonna be the same froglok mesh you see in guk but with interchangeable armor graphics like all the other races. That would have been amazing. Nope, they had to build a whole new lamer model.
If people want to play a froglok, they want to LOOK like one. Not some generic fantasy frog stock asset from some unfinished game. | ||
