old animations?

I remember back in the day before any expansions, and the change to the rounded models, the animation for the two handed weapons was a side swing, the over and slash and a straight ahead poke.

Then they got all fancy with the models and the attack just became an overhead slash.
Is there a way to get that old animation back?
