Application Error - Help needed

I was able to get sign in and get to the serve login screen. When I select the server and log in I receive the following application error.

An attempt was made to execute an illegal instruction. (0xc000001d) occurred in the application at location )x00000007295D780.

Please note the attached image. I'd really appreciate some help.

I'm getting the same issue. Did you figure it out?

I found something that works on Windows 11. I edited the properties of my "eqgame.exe patchme", went to compatibility settings, change emulation settings, and then selecting "safe emulation". The game now seems to run.

This happened to me today. I had increased the screen resolution just prior. Setting resolution back to 1280x1024 fixed it.
