![]() Why do they suck so hard?
The 49 fire pet has a 43 DS, the 52 fire pet has a 2 DS. Absurd. Isn't the idea to get stronger instead of weaker? The 51+ pets (even the epic pet) don't scale well with mob health and damage output. Why do I need to kill a raid mob, or pay 750,000PP, to increase the power of my 51+ pet ever so slightly? Meanwhile, Enchanters pets are equipped with all sorts of cool things and hit for hundreds as they group solo raid mobs with charmed pets. Having to chain cast pets is stupid. Mages don't get any mana regen either. Enchanters, Druids and Necromancers can regenerate mana while walking around. Shaman can generate mana on the fly. I've got a +2 HP regen spell that costs a billion Cat's Eye to cast. There's hardly any summoned mobs, they are mostly undead. Who thought it was a good idea to make Gift of Xev summon all that stuff when all I want is the bag? Why are DS and Burnout spells on such short timers? Don't get me started on the pet EXP penalty; it's like giving a Monk a 50% XP penalty if he's not grouped. The pet XP penalty doesn't affect Enchanters because they charm and then go invis and kill both mobs. Necro doesn't need a pet neither does Shaman. A Mage is toast without his pet. Why don't mages get an illusion spell? Why do summoned Mage weapons suck so much? When I go invis my pet dies....when I zone my pet dies...WTF? The constant casting to get max level pet too...OMG. Bristlebane's Bundle? Really? Yeah, that's gonna be useful. Meanwhile necro has FD and snare/fear, shaman has slow and Torpor. Enchanters have pretty much everything. What do I get? I get fireworks, +2 HP regen and a pet with a 2 point DS and Level 12 Wizard spells. Thanks for nothing. Stick that earth staff where the sun don't shine. [You must be logged in to view images.
