Spells not popping off of spell bar.

On Green and using duxaui, I hold left click on a spell on the hot bar and it pops onto cursor but it does not get deleted from the hot bar. Can't rewrite a new spell over the existing one either. Is something bugged or am I just not remembering how to do this.
