Default Poll time for 2 boxing

It seems some people want to 2box. 2boxing is lame sauce and who wants to play with a bunch of lifeless bots. Or some people can use it for self power leveling. Which i do not understand why you want 2box who are you trying impress? I am pretty sure most project 1999 users are playing EQ for fun. I can agree on one thing about 2 boxing. That is that you can sell your stuff while you play or do transfers but that's about is it.

listen, you could two box in eq classic if you wanted to. you should be able to have it here. TWO BOX. not three box or four box or freakin six box. i just went through 2 shitty days of having IDIOTS get ME killed in uguk. i just dont want to deal with it. i would enjoy being able to do solo work (duo) with my self and then enjoy dungeons later after newbies are filtered out.

the reason they banned two boxes originally was (my guess) probably because they wanted the server pop to grow and if you allow 2 boxing it would not have been able to grow community wise, because of people just playing with themselves. this population is more than stable, and still growing. so the rule is just stupid now.

ive never two boxed before, and i've been pissed on PEQ because there are a million boxers, but this is clearly different.

In my opinion, the thing that made EQ so amazing back in it's day was that people needed each other, your reputation was important, because alone you couldn't accomplish much. If 2 boxing, or more boxing is allowed, people won't group, they won't need others for ports, or rezzes or anything else, and then there goes the community and along come the tards who don't need to worry about their reputation because they have a group all of their own.

I personally love that there is no 2 boxing allowed (other than the fact my boyfriend and I are having to take turns because we are still waiting on an IP exemption). Back in classis eq it was hardly ever done. Sure people logged a toon on to port a mate, or themselves, but generally it wasn't the done thing.

EQ, unlike other games takes concentration, and I for one do not want to be playing with people who have half their attention in either place. It makes for 2 mediocre characters unless you use macros, and if that's what you want to do why play at all.

Why can't people get it through their thick skulls? This server was no 2 box (or 3 box, 4 box, 9 box whatever) from the very start, that is the way that the server gods wanted it. Period. If you wanted to 2 box you should have gone to PEQ or one of the other 2 dozen servers. This is the second poll on this topic and, may I say, the results are the same. People overwhelmingly voted for NO 2 boxing. Don't QQ, either deal with it or move on.
