I prefer to pronounce it: "in-dicked-meant." Like interdiction, but without the ter.

Either that or we have to start pronouncing it "in ter die shun."

ex.
"Order the Interdytor crew to activate its gravity-well projectors so the criminals can't escape."

& that just feels wrong.
