In Green 2.0 will Mage summoned swords proc?

In Classic and Kunark of Green 1.0, the Mages summoned swords proced on everything, not just summoned creatures, right?

Was that intentional and meant to be changed at a later date with a patch? Or was it simply a bug that they didn't intent, and in Green 2.0 will be fixed from day 1?
