Default New in Everquest, questions

Hi everyone. I just installed the game and no matter what the resolution I choose always give me the same small window and poor resolution. Also the game doesn't recognize my laptop vga Geforce 940MX.

Welcome, I think the best/easiest solution is to play in windowed mode. Go to your eqclient.ini file and set windowedmode = true and then play around with the windowedwidth and height values until the window takes up your entire screen except the taskbar. Then go to your eqgame file > compatibility and uncheck high DPI scaling override.

Its strange. I checked that file and it shows the resolution I chose, but It keeps 800x600 with gamma super high and not recognizing my laptop vga. Sucks I so want to play the game but can't adjust anything.

Did you follow those steps exactly? You only adjust the resolution in the eqclient.ini file, nothing in-game. If you're still having problems there are videos on youtube with all the info, you can definitely get the game running well on any system.
