Pretty sure this is the guy I talked to in the tunnel same day he made the forum post. I advised that spear isn't in game yet and he should get an Ebon War Spear. Until I see one, pretty sure it isn't in game yet.

Yes that was me. As per your recommendation I settled for a cold iron Morningstar. It hits like a truck and I got it for next to nothing. More money for spells!
