When Can I Play EverQuest and How Much Will it Cost?

Phase 2 of the beta test is currently in progress. 4000 players will be allowed into the third closed phase of beta testing, near the end of October. A final open phase of beta testing that doesn’t require a formal application will then occur. The game is currently expected to ship around January, 1999.
