Oracle - Is my strategy sound?

Looking to solo this guy as a 40 necro. Plan is to root the guardian (hoping it lands) and then draw the oracle away and FD. Or if it does not land, try to FD split. How does this sound?

I have no memory of killing him... ever. But aren’t they hard-coded to link aggro, as in, not splittable?

No to the linking aggro but they arent easily splittable because of some return pathing strangeness

Not sure, I know that are on the same faction. Normally we had one person run the guardian away and in would kill oracle. But wanted to try solo.

If you start with a darkness....you can pull them away, then FD, and the oracle won't walk back while snared / dotted. Then wait for the guardian to walk back and boom bow you got your man.

But you won't have a pet. So might get up, re-darkness it.....run to the next island once you know he is alone and summon a pet before he gets there.

I was gonna make a pet and sit him on other side of island. He should not trigger unless I get hit
