You Have Been Disconnected (error)

Hello,
I've attempted to scour the forums in an attempt to resolve this issue before posting.
I apologize if I missed something obvious & if this seems redundant.

I have downloaded a fresh install of everything (including windows [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]).

I am able to get as far as the Character Creation screen [sometimes... other times while attempting to play, I reach the character creation screen & it shows only a background, or no characters (although I have made one, WE Dru, whom cannot log into Kelethin yet)].

A black screen usually ends this process. Occasionally there is a windows error with a string of numbers "0000000057D" occurred (but this is rare).

I have tried it with AND without Firewall.
I have tried using WinEQ (to see if it would help).

I am running a msiGP2QF Leopard Pro laptop, with Windows 10.

Can anyone provide further advice or a link to a different thread where more answers might be found? <3
