Default anyway to change my field of view?

Sometimes I run on a netbook and looking at the game world through that screen makes it hard to play sometimes. is the a way to "zoom out" the game world in first person?

no, just play in 3rd person (use mouse wheel to zoom out).

Play in third person as was suggested... and just drop the opacity on all your different windows. I play on a netbook too. It's tough sometime's to see what's going on, but with the right feng shui to your UI you'll be fine

Also* certain spells in the game, I think, let you see in a wide angle as opposed to a telephoto perspective. like the druid spell mask of the hunter? Or am I wrong here?
