Characters Missing

Hi all,

I just got started on Proj99 a few days ago. Yesterday was my first day really getting to play.

I log in today and all 3 of the characters I created are missing.

Any ideas?

there was a patch

These characters were created and played after the 10 Feb patch. Was there another?

Probably clicked the wrong server at server select

Nope. Most definitely Blue99.

I just tried again and it told me now my spell files are out of date so re-d/l'd V46 and still getting the same error.

that means you need to DL the new patch files and put them in your p99 directory. happens every time they do a patch. you'll get used to it. your characters are still there. just grab the patch files

Odd thing that seemed to fix this for me - If I did not have a "velious" folder under "uifiles" I got no characters. Putting the "velious" folder there corrected this for me. No idea why.

I did verify by removing it and once again got none of my characters listed. Added it back once more, they re-appeared. <shrug>
