Manna Robe on low levels

Will it merely be gimmicky or will I actually be happy and find it useful to have and use manna robe on low levels on a purecaster twink?

And how big a difference will having a z-heart as well make to the effectiveness of manna robe?

Manna Robe on my main (necro) at 60 is nice at certain points while raiding or after having been rezzed but it's not something I'd really use if out and about on my own or in a group.

Making a mage alt will I be happy I moved that stuff over or is it actually not that exciting even at low levels.

It will help insofar as mana regen rather than HP regen is holding you back from xping. But I can’t imagine spending that much on an alt for what I would consider limited utility. That being said, any mage that will be cothing in bulk regularly will want one (Trak, ST, some NTOV stuff).
