Default Timeline Fix: Song of the Deep Seas

Admittedly I'm not 100% familiar with how this currently functions on P99, but I gather you have the duration fixed properly for timeline (3 ticks initially, later fixed to 2.5min duration) along with the proper spelling of the proc effect.

It looks like the proc was always set to apply to a group and the group receives the effect bonuses, is that correct? It seems for proper refresh server timeline the group portion of the effect wouldn't be fixed until sometime between 9/11 - 9/25.

Player Comment:
While you're doing those changes, any chance you will ever fix the Siren Song proc (Song of the Deep Seas?) You gave it a range to target, but not a radius, so that when it goes off it only affects the bard. It's been broken since since the first one dropped, and still remains broken, even though it's a change of a single entry in the spell database, and you've had time to rewrite how bard item effects stack.

Also note that unless the proc is classified as a "song", it will be worthless.

Developer Response:
While we were poking around in the bowels of bard songs, Lawrence fixed this. In fact, it should have gone live with the patch yesterday.

hi i have and use this weapon. the effect does indeed stack with the epic effect though i heard it didnt once as it was broken , it is self only lasts the length of a song. those stats above seem about right , cept i havent noticed the agi/ac bonuses. guy who said too much agro , yes this weapon gives some agro , its really good and only a fool would not use this weapon because of a reason like that . well that or someone who has not descovered song of dawn. person that said switch out from primals , yes someone might do this its arguably better however avatar is a 6min spell and if you have ever seen primals in action you'll know of their large proc rate , making them very easy to switch out for proc and back to epic. personally i use this dagger and the epic , when im not using songs that i greatly need to raise with an instrument effect i often find myself procing the epic and putting it in offhand so the dagger is mainhand for more procs.

the proc is fixed now, works groupwide again. proc will 'stack' with the epic, but not the haste component, obviously...
There was a patch 9/11 and 9/25 according to patch history, seems to imply it was fixed by 9/21. Either way, seems like before September 2001 the effect should be self-only, but afterwards apply to group?

I am assuming it is the effect itself that is broken on not the weapon (assuming Nature's Melody was not yet discovered or had widespread use at this time). So this would affect both Siren Song, Dagger of the Sea and Nature's Melody.

If I'm misunderstanding how P99 has this implemented and you already accounted for this functionality I apologize, and please move to resolved.
