Default Faydedar Chain killing Bound people

I have it on good authority that Faydedar somehow is killing people bound at the Firepots.

A Caster friend died and was bound there. He stepped away for a moment and upon returning he witnessed his toon being killed by Faydedar. However upon further investigation, his toon was killed about a dozen times, one after another.

I was under the impression that this could not happen inside the Firepots room, obviously I was mistaken.

Faydedar lives in Timorous Deep. This is a danger of binding there.

I'd suggest getting a pick up raid going.

Nobody ever said binding there was safe to my knowledge. You definitely don't want to just afk hang out there.

He never aggros someone in the firepot room. If someone is stupid enough to bind outside the room IE on the spires AND train him down into the room, this can occur.

Guilds will be plowing him over shortly however.

Ouch, yeah. Poor guy. Definitely don't wanna AFK in the pots room unless you know for sure Fay died recently.

Hopefully he can find a friendly cleric to do some raises for him.

Lol... I'm sorry but the idea of someone gettin corpse camped by a dragon is kinda what makes EQ so awesome to me...

But yeah, that would suck if I was the person in question.

I hate to be that guy, but Faydedar has always been the biggest danger of binding at the pots, I vividly remember him aggroing on people who bound there. Don't ever go afk when you gate or die or are in TD especially if you are bound there.

Tell your friend that he needs to spend a week in Mistmoore, annihilating everything in sight.

I bound there on live, progression, etc.

I never got Faydedar aggro inside the room.
