Default Sound randomly decided to stop working

Only EQ sound doesn't work.

I checked my .ini, and everything looks okay there.

I DID notice that "Everquest" disappeared under applications under volume mixer. Anyone know how to re-add it to there?

If it's not showing in the volume mixer, for whatever reason your OS doesn't think it's a sound-producing app.

I'd recommend changing your ingame sound setting around? Never had sound cut randomly like that before [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Any definitive answer on this? My girlfriend's computer has now cut sound for Everquest as well as Warcraft 3 and Diablo 2. Sound works perfectly on other programs, Youtube etc and for system sounds.

.INI file is TRUE for sound - that is not the issue anyone is experiencing. She updated the audio driver a few weeks ago when we first encountered the issue and it solved the problem... now it's back. Tried uninstalling various sound programs in Task Manager and add/remove programs, no luck.
