Game Mechanics: Sacrificial Dagger - Secondary?

Just bought this dagger, says secondary in the item info but won't click onto the secondary slot. Clicks onto primary just fine.

This might just be a problem with my character, I don't know. Froamks is my name in-game if it is.

What class are you?

if you are a caster class, you can not duel wield, hence why it will not go into the secondary position.
