Quest Issue: Soulfire turn in not working

I have all the required materials, killed lucan with a few people, went to turn them all in, brother hayle doesn't acknowledge the turn in and all the items are given back to me.

not a big deal, just thought it'd be cool to get my fire sword on the beta.

I should have posted this on the beta forums since that is where it happened. I was under the impression that if your faction was too low that Hayle would just eat your turn-ins. Maybe not.

Brother Hayle is one of the random npcs which WILL return items. Not all npcs are like this, but yes the OP sounded like a faction issue.

He should have said "You have not yet proven yourself" when you failed.
