Been almost 10 years

It has been a LONG time since I played Everquest, and with the proliferation of WoW clones and failed games with big name licenses (Warhammer Online and Star Trek Online being the two most recent ones I can think of) I started thinking of Everquest again, how much I missed it, how I'd like to get back to the classics.

I shell out 20$ for Titanium half a year ago, get on the servers and practically regurgitate at what I saw. That wasn't the EQ I played way back when.. suffice it to say I felt like I had wasted cash.

Lo and Behold today I heard about Project 1999 from my brother, who has a friend who has been playing this for quite some time. I must say I am absolutely ****ing ecstatic to be here. I am an Iksar player at heart and with only 20 days to wait until the Kunark Expansion I couldn't have picked a better time to join. Several of my friends also have dusty tomes of Titanium ready to be used.. so I'm hoping to bring in a pack.

I hope that this is gonna be a blast.
