Played a 65 paladin on Emarr back around 2003. Then I had a 95 enchanter on the test server a few years ago.

Nice choice for a first character, and welcome!

You will find people to group with around cabilis, but it's not nearly as crowded or busy as the Freeport area is.

Wares are sold from the east commonlands tunnel, so eventually you will want to make your way there.

You can farm tons of bone chips to sell for 10pp a stack, spiderLING silks 15-20pp a stack, and spider silks for 10-20pp a stack.

The spiderling silks come from the small spiders, and you can find them en masse inside the small underground cave which isn't far from the cabilis entrance. The spider silks will drop in chunks from any of the level 5+ spiders that roam in the pit area near the noob ramp.

If you can farm these items and bank them for later sales, you could end up making 500pp or more before level 20 if you head to EC and sell to players.
