This pet should not be controllable, it should attack the target you have upon summon and than disappear once it or the mob dies

Indeed, check this link:

Summons an elemental that attacks your target relentlessly until either your target or the elemental dies.

didnt think to check here thanks for the info so if we use this spell and kill the pet after each mob are we good?

thats fine and understood now. but how is anyone supposed to know if they never played a mage on live? with spell descriptions removed its hard to know what a spell does and I dont research spells online. I scribe and use. can you not see how this can slip through the cracks?
