Default Why doesn't this work on my cell phone?

I can log in and get to server select. However once I try to get to character select it just hangs like it's going to connect but then drops me back to log in.

I'm on an ATT network with a 4G connection. Do I need to change APN settings or something?

Many people have numerous issues with EQEMU using lossy connections like WIFI routers, I would imagine cellphone hotspots/adhoc/etc suffer from the same problems

Edit : I used to know some people that play on a 3g/4g connection, but they just gave up out of frustration.

I play sometimes using my Sprint 4G Galaxy S5, using PdaNet+ and USB connection. It's surprisingly stable for a cellular tethering connection. My phone doesn't allow me to turn it in to wireless hotspot without actually paying Sprint money, so I can't speak to how good a hotspot/wireless connection is.

Are you playing on your 4G connection or through your home internet routed through your phone to PC? Because I can do it on my home connection through my phone but not on my 4G. The reason I want to do this is because I have more data than I can use in a month on my phone. If I could get P99 to work on 4G I might just cancel my home internet and save a bit of money every month.
