Introduction

Hello eveyone,
I'd like to introduce myself. I'm a first-time P1999er, but long-time Everquester. I can trace my EQ history all the way back to beta in 1998. I was a pretty heavy Tanarus player back then and Smedley would often pop into game chat and talk about his new project and try to drag people over for beta testing. I stayed heavily with EQ from launch until 2004 (on Karana server) when I started splitting my time between EQ1 and EQ2, finally dedicating myself wholly to EQ2 in 2006. I hung up my EQ2 cape in 2013.

I just started up on P1999 yesterday on a Gnome wizard and am so far having a blast! big shout out to the druid Frostie who came across me struggling in Steamfront yeserday afternoon, buffed me up and gave me some starter gear and plat. It was a huge help!

Welcome to the server fellow gnome wizard! If you need any advice/tips shoot me a tell in game. I solo quadded pretty much the whole way and I can give you some less well known spots if you plan on sticking it out on the wizzie.

Hi Wentil, welcome. I was on Karana as well, from 2000-2005ish I think, high elf Paladin. I rolled a SK on p99 so I can't really offer buffs or anything, sorry! But I can offer you a hearty hand shake!
