![]() I just made an Enchanter and now I'm about to hit level 20. But the fact that Enchanters are so overplayed right now has been very discouraging. Enchanters probably make up 75% of the casters I've seen lately. Over half the people online in my guild earlier were Enchanters.
Should I reroll to something cooler that's not played as much like Wizard or Magician? Not sure how I feel about Enchanter anymore. Sure it's great for soloing but when it comes to groups and raids you'll have 1000 other Enchanters to compete with making you feel less special. Please tell me Enchanters become rare in the higher levels, especially good ones, or else I think I'm about ready to reroll.

![]() There's lots of every class. Honestly, play what you want. Enchanters are always loved in a group.

![]() There are many higher level enchanters, however there are not many great enchanters out there.

![]() People who roll a character with the intent of 'this will be fun to play' rarely make it to level 54+. Those playing a character with the intent of 'this is what I need to play' are the ones that actually follow through. It sounds trite, but it is true for this.
If the Enchanter is the best fit for you as a player out of all the other classes, stick with it regardless of what others are playing. As you reach towards the endgame, most of them will have swapped to something else. And as a side note as to what the server seems to be lowest on, my votes would be for paladin / cleric / rogue / wizard. There seems to be PLENTY of all the others running around at all levels.

![]() You're right though- get used to being very very redundant/useless on raids. Grouping (especially duoing/trioing) is fun times though, even if there's more than chanter in the group.

![]() TBH this doesn't sound like that big a deal, but if it's enough to make you consider rerolling you probably should since it doesn't sound like you're really into enchanting.
I don't know server demographics but here are some observations (my enc is 54): I spend almost all of my playtime soloing, and rarely bump into other enchanters. Exception being when I'm in a notoriously popular enc solo camp, then I'll see one pop in every so often to check the camp. I try to keep role off to save those people a trip, but... I get unsolicited group invites a LOT. If there are a lot of enchanters around my level, they ain't LFG because I keep it off and still can't take off /role without being asked "u lfg?" all the time. People will see me in the hole with lfg off and still ask. Gets really old, but I guess it's nice to know I could get a group if I wanted one. PS not trying to sound elitist or anything but lots of enchanters really do suck, the class is so well documented on the wiki/forums I just don't understand [You must be logged in to view images. ![]() Once you join the 60 enchanter group you really don't see a lot of phantasmists comparative to below 54 when people get C2. Welcome to the most difficult class to play well.

I recommend to level to 16 when you get charm then decide if you like the class as that is what you will be doing 90% of the time.
