Newbie, rolled a cleric, looking for advice!

A few months ago I decided to give Everquest a try. Haven't gotten to play much until recently and am loving it. Decided to roll a Cleric because I love supporting others and grouping together to get things done!

But Everquest is hard. It's a challenge. And I'm not sure what goals I should look to set as an aspiring Cleric. At first it was reach level twenty, but with my current work schedule that could be a while. So rather I'm looking for advice on short term goals I can set for myself.

Tomorrow I am going to be hitting level 8, and that was really my first goal. What should I work towards next? Are there quests I could seek out for decent items? A certain level that'll allow me to group for things like CB and the like?
