![]() I'm not sure if I just never happened to see this until the last couple months, somehow, or if it was changed... but NPCs can get teleported by the teleporter pads in HS these days. The ones in the back of North and West zap them to the zone in, which causes train issues as stuff tries, through odd routes, to run back or forth through the wings. I haven't seen one step on the one in the back of south.
I just assumed that they CAN'T be teleported anywhere by the pad in the back of east, what with that teleporter sending you out of the zone, to Overthere. Once a couple of weeks ago, I even had a charm break in east, and my former pet and the other mob ran directly across the east pad towards me... but summon went off when they were ON the pad, so I instantly got ported out into OT. But just now, I had a mortiferous golem fleeing from my pet, and he seemingly stepped on the pad and got teleported... somewhere. I still had a target on him, my pet charged off out of the room after him. I just gated instead of trying to get a bind sight or something. But yeah. Are mobs supposed to hit teleporter pads? I don't think I've seen them trigger a pad except when they are fleeing... and it looks suspiciously like they flee towards the teleporters intentionally. But why the hell does a teleporter that takes a PC out of the zone send a mob somewhere within the zone? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I'd go to the back of north and make a video if really necessary, but I know there have been quite a number of people who have learned first hand that this happens (at least in north and west) over the last couple months. People on north safe ramp and in basement suffer the brunt of what happens when something flees through the north or west pads... heh. Edit - I take it back. I'm a bit bored, so I'm going to head into north and test a pet, an aggrod mob, and a fleeing mob. I'll have bind sight ready to see where they actually pop out at.

![]() It's pretty unpredictable. Sometimes a fleeing mob pathing over a pad will warp over, sometimes it will not.
Sometimes a pet following you through a pad will warp over, sometimes it will not. It's best to always assume the worst for your current situation. If it could be fixed, I'd like to see NPC's always warping through pads.

![]() Depends on where you fear them if they will path unto the pads North through south I can single pull any named/ph to the entrance for a buddy to handle with ivu pots and bio orb. Unsure if classic but a fun way to camp things.

I just made a video in north demonstrating charmed pets walking over the pad without triggering it, aggrod mobs walking over the pad without triggering it, but then when I nuked a mob down low, he fled directly toward the pad and it activated to take him to the zonein. This was in North, but I'm now assuming that all of the pads work this way, again including the one in east that takes PCs out into OT. Will upload video and link to it in a bit. It's a fun one, complete with mocking other people who are dying in HS, my wife talking to me about my kids going to see a movie in the park later this week, etc.

![]() I have very vivid memories of fighting the west boss mob in his room, getting unlucky on breaks and stepping on the pad to zone in in order to facilitate CR, and dieing to the said boss mob at zone in who followed me through the pad. I trained him through the pad.
I also used the pads a few times with charmed pets and had various results - sometimes they would gently follow through, sometimes they would path all the way back (maybe through the trap to the basement then the pad?) and bring a fun train full of assrape. I can't count how many times I had a dotted sperm or a goo in the basement that broke root at low hp and started fleeing through the central pad, sometimes warping up and aggroing stuff up there, sometimes just passing through the pad like it's nothing.

![]() It's almost like the NPC's needed to touch a particular "hot spot" in the pad to trigger it, while a PC can touch any part of the pad to achieve the same result.
