sounds cool. Hopefully it's done well.

This past April, the company said it would not discuss the NX at E3 2016, but announced that it planned to launch the console worldwide in March 2017. Nintendo also announced at the time that the next Zelda game — revealed at E3 as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild — will be released simultaneously on Wii U and NX sometime in 2017.

Good link. Looks solid , but it'll be interesting if they add VR or Motion control in the future.

Problem with the docking station,.. you can't see the fking screen while it's docked.
what the fuck.

If that really is the final design people are going to be pissed about that. Even if you can hook the docking station up to a tv. Maybe someone wants to have the option to use the built in screen while it's docked..

and the "joy con" looks like a babies toy.

yea, pretty interesting too that they are using Tegra... maybe I misunderstand but this opens up a lot of cross-compatibility if...

Wii ran on a nintendo modified linux variant(true?)...

am I correct that with tegra and if linux ... things such as motion and vr are pretty damned accessible if only at first to a skilled "GameBreaker"... I'm sure it would more depend on the cpu architecture(?) more than anything, but with recent cross-platform wrappers(?) am I just ignorant and wishful thinking about possibilities?

nintendo always came across as a game > hardware power company... whether they failed or not through history they definately are worth note...

also, I would expect the game screen/docking issue mentioned to be addressed ... all the console companies have worked on the "Throw to screen"

It's hard for me to get on the hate wagon fully - mobile systems are the only acceptable console purchases. but you're a total baboon who probably has a big dick daddy paying your way if you are planning a day-1 purchase of this after Nintendo's recent track record
