Yeah I could solo but I don't want to.
Night after night my 40 Wiz can't find a group. I try CoM, DL, GD and LGuk. Never find groups. It's so frustrating. I have a little better luck with my 35 Dru but not much. He can still go several nights with no luck. My 32 Mag might get a group in MM if the planets align just right. I stopped playing P99 once before because of this. I know...waaah poor baby. I know everyone wants Encs and Clerics. I played a high level Enc in the old days and just don't feel like doing that again. I guess I could dust off my Cleric. /sigh [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Keep looking. Sooner or later, you'll find a group! Or check in with the regular group folks. I remember having Wizards in the group back when I played before, and we loved 'em!
Maybe when we get to those levels, if you're still stuck, you can regular with us!

Do you keep your LFG tag up, or just go to the zone and advertise? I know a lot of people will do a /w all LFG with the appropriate level range to look for group replacements. I've gotten tells from people on other continents to come join their group before just because I had the tag on.

Are you in a guild? That's the best way to form groups IMO. If you are not in a guild or in a guild that doesn't group (what's the point?) feel free to look me up in game. We have a number of players around 40's that like to group up and we don't compose groups based only on class. A wizzy would be a great addition to any of our guild groups.
Can't promise you will find a group every nite as people are in different time zones and have different work schedules but we do try to pair up for at least duos/trios when we can and try to do more full group dungeon crawls on the weekends. Even if you don't want to join the guild feel free to shoot me or anyone in guild a tell to see about joining some groups with us.

Another radical idea is to make your own. That's what I did most of the time. Solo becomes a duo > trio.... make friends. Talk to people. Also, don't be anonymous.

Druids and Wizards are basically the kings of making groups. /who all war, rog, cler, ench, sha /tell %T "(somecampgroup?)" and then port them to whatever zone you want to exp in. The group doesn't even have to be in existence yet, just port them and they are at your mercy.

Good input all thanks. I do try to keep my LFG tag on but honestly if I don't find a group in a few tries I move on to an alt. I don't want to sit and do nothing.

And don't limit yourself to groups of 6. Find a partner, find 3, explore!

And don't be put out if folks don't want to group. There are times when folks just don't know how long they have to play, or they're almost done, or... goodness only knows. But keep asking and looking, keep your LFG up, and you'll get grouped up! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

My groups usually begin as an offer to duo, then others see the duo and ask to join.
