Default New to EQ

My friend told me about p99 and I've always thought about playing Everquest. So here I am. I made a Dwarf Cleric and I'm enjoying it so far. If anyone has any information or help for a newbie, I'd be willing to listen [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Enjoy it, mate. 99% of people here have fond memories of their EQ debuts.

1) Bone chips are good! There is even a quest inside of the dwarf city where you can get some patchwork armor as a reward!

2) http://wiki.project1999.com/ this is a good website to look up zones and quests

3) If you get really brave....go after the legendary bonethunder staff!! It can be done at around level 10-12 alone! But it requires a lot of work (the amulet can be rare, and some clerics need to do faction work -hint, bandit sash quest can be good one to raise faction and get exp around qeynos if you do this-)...and is dangerous....but the weapon is one of my favorites for low level cleric and paladin (since it procs a 41 damage DD spell as you fight to undead!!!). ((Here is information about the quest http://wiki.project1999.com/Bonethunder_Staff_Quest ))
