This General leads a nasty contingent of Dragoons who depart from the city at dusk each night. It is inadvisable to be in their way as they depart the city.

This guy always went out of the outpost to make things hard on the goods that decided to xp in OT. He does not here.

I think he patrols the path, but I am not sure how far. I found someone talking about it on the same page as linked before:

Best way to avoid him is to camp in the corner of the zone. The goons usually never wander off the path.

He is also faster than SoW it seems(again from the same page):

a bit later our 41 warrior run into him while pulling. he had sow on and was not overloaded, and the general got him half way to FM. he can outrun sow!

a nice shammy at the outpost gave me a sow, so I thought there might be a chance to get by the guard and zone into FM. The following chat log would look something like the following.

General V'Deers bashes YOU for 28 point damage.

I think Rogean is working on the pathing and aggro range for the patrollers.
