Default Game won't launch

Hi everyone.

I haven't played in a long time. Got the itch. Installed from the Titanum CD's, launch using Launch Titanium.bat

Mid-way through launch i get a popup that says

The instruction at 0x00000000002F745B4 referenced memory at 0x0000000003BEF0E4. The memory could not be read.

Click on OK to terminate the program

Windows 10 - anything else that might be relevant?

Not sure how to resolve this anyone know?

You can try creating a text file named eqclient.ini. I run windows 10 np so it's shouldn't be that. Did you make sure to grant yourself full permissions on the eq folder? sometimes that can cause issues too if you don't have that.

By the sounds of it, you followed http://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2651
Maybe double check that you did everything in there. I use WinEq2. Works better imo, I never have any luck with the launch titantium.bat

Also, you didn't let it patch to live servers did you?

Just a few things it could be, kind of rambled on but hopefully we can help you figure it out!

Having a similar issue, although my game wont load after not logging in for like 4-5 months. Haven't changed any settings. I get this error after choosing the server.

Yes, I went through the process in that link.

I used to launch the game using the eqgame.exe with something like -patchme.

Do you remember that? does it still work?

This is usually due to some eqclient.ini settings for resolution.

This is issue #1 on the FAQ which you can find here

As far as my issue goes, I just did a fresh install and made sure my resolutions settings in the eqclient.ini matched up and it resolved the issue.
