Default Titanium?

After posting on the EQ forums, they directed me to post here. But I don't think P99 could actually sell old expansion that were sold by EQ. Which is why I posted there, as they should be able to sell the older expansions, being LEGALLY theirs.

I'm looking for the P99 version, because boxing is not allowed there, and its free to play once the Titanium Edition is installed. The original version was about $20 - $30? I'm not looking to pay those way to high prices on ebay or amazon set around $150.

But, I am still looking to buying it legally from the company that owns the rights to it.

The company that owns rights to it stopped selling it long ago. You might find third party sellers (scalpers) at Amazon or Ebay. I think that's about it, legally. It's a 13-year-old, out of print version of the game.

They no longer sell it.

It is an outdated client. The current version of the EQ client is a free download, since it is a subscription based service.

You may randomly find a copy of it in a used-bookstore/game store, but that will be rare.

If you really want to part with your money (none of which will go to the rights holder), then you can purchase the discs (which may be burned copies) on Ebay or some third-party Amazon seller for 10x the original MSRP and 1000 what the physical discs are worth.

With these points in consideration, your client is in another Bay.

If you feel like you need to send DBG some dough, throw a five'r in an envelope and mail it to them.

"apart of"? er no. But even if you left that out of your message (they can't say that hehe), the disks went out of print a loooong time ago. And in the case of even classic mmo's, those CD/DVD runs were very limited in the day compared to other games which could sell for years. Now most don't even do prints, just digital distribution (heck I just bought a game off steam an hour ago). And for an mmo, that is typically the latest version, otherwise it's like downloading it twice with all the many patches that would be required before connecting to their servers which is the point of the distribution.
Arr M8y..

Daybreak should just get GOG or someone to sell Titanium and make some money out of it <shrug> -- Mg

but if you purchased all of the expansions as they were released would they allow you to download a new digital version of titanium for P99?

There is no "official" download from Sony/DBG. It is an unsupported client.

However, you justifiably have a license to maintain a copy of Titanium at that point where ever you may find it.

Titanium was the boxed version of the game which contained all the expansions up to that point. As I had bought all the expansions already there was no need (for me) to get that boxed version back then.
