Wow - I'm back home...

Hello everyone,

I am pleased to be back home in Everquest. As we speak, I am getting the game prepared and hoping it will be ready to go very soon. I just wanted to take a brief moment and introduce myself. I played EQ from the start, way back in the day. Most of my memories are very hazy and faded, however, I do recall playing on the Vazaelle server, in the guild Caer Cedarn for a brief bit. I was Nilbaan the magician. As for right now, I can barely remember most of the spells and such. I am also quite lost on quests and really a good place to "start." So, with that being said, any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I have been keeping up with this project for a good while, but it had slipped my mind to get it situated so that I could play. I was browsing YouTube and came across Daelyn75 Games and noticed he did a lot of EQ play, which got me instantly hooked again and helped me recall a lot of memories.

I will not be able to be a hardcore 18 hours a day/7 days a week player as I was back in the day, however, I am dedicated and can assist in anyway needed if anyone needs something. I am at a bit of a loss on what to play right now, but I do remember having a max level mage, cleric, necro, and SK with my mage being the main raider I used. Other than that, I don't recall much.

If there are any "newb" friendly groups out there for an old, rusty veteran of the old ages, then feel free to contact me. I intend on staying around and being a part of this community.

Did you get into game yet? If so, what class did you settle on? There's usually always low-level players/groups hunting in the low-level zones.

Welcome to the server. I have a small (leveling) guild of mostly returning EQ players (a couple new to EQ). We currently have about 20-25 players that are mostly under 30. We primarily run with Iksars in Kunark but have people in other regions as well as some from other regions that bound in FoB. Feel free to contact me in game if you are looking for grouping or a guild.

Thanks for all of the replies, everyone. I decided on a Human Bard for now, as I played one in live for a while. My bard is Ezekael. I intend on making a Iksar necro pretty soon as well. A friend and I did a lot of duo'ing and he was a necro, so I have always been curious as to how it feels to play one. I also intend on healing, probably a cleric or druid, as well. I had one of those on live as well, but during the PoP exp.

I'll look for you in game, EQBallzz. I need a good leveling guild. =)
