Default R99 Protest Day / Nilbog Celebration Day

Hey yawl!

I've been contemplating this idea for quite a while (2-3 drunken hours, plus marijuana etcetera), due to my love of classic EverQuest and EQ pvp, and I hope yaw'll join me on this exploration.

I'm proposing a Red99 Logout day, or days, that last 24-76 hours, where no one logs into the server out of protest of the current state.

Velious is conquered. Grats Radnarus (whatever that whiny kid's name is) for winning the server after every competent player has quit. 50-60 peak population during regular hours, with as many zones in the game.

Everyone. Everyone. Everyone complains of stagnation and lameness - and rightly so!

The protest shalt begin Monday, June 6th, the same day that Queen Christina converted to Catholic Christianity and 5,000 jews were massacred at Seville, Spain, and it shalt end on Wednesday the 8th of June (or, hopefully, continue forever).

Can we get a response from my Deity, and true EverQuest lord/savior, Nilbog, on Teams99 and the future of EverQuest PVP? Thou art thy humble servant.

PS: I have developed an ideal ruleset for a new server, Purple99, that combines the best elements of classic PVE EverQuest (community, honor, respect, dedication, loyalty...) with PVP EverQuest (ruthlessness, competition, intelligence, skill) that would weld this toxic sewer pipe into an epochal aqueduct. But I need motivation to publish. Those of you who know me, know I speak the truth.

Nilbog, you're my only hope...
