Game Mechanics: Faction Problems In HP And HPK

I searched the forums for this information but it was never directly said about it being fixed or how to fix the issue.

I have a Gnome Necromancer and I spent a few hours in HP last night killing about 225 Orcs and turning in around 100 Orc scalps. I also killed around 130 Gnolls and and turned in 45 Gnoll scalps.

This raised my faction from Threatening to Amiable with the Guards and Highpass Citizens in HP and HPK but Merchants still see me as Dubious. I noticed that I'm still marked as threatening to Captain Bosec in HPK.

What's the issue with the Merchants and Captain Bosec?
