Hi everyone [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.],

I finally caved in to all the nostalgia and decided to get a character going on P999. Coming from a guild that was #1 (on the prexus server back at that time) it is very refreshing to be a complete and total noob. I do not care about graphics or any outdated UI nonsense, the community here is amazing!

It is a little lonely right now and was wondering if anyone else that is starting would like to add me as a friend so that we can go slay things together and level up as a group. I am currently a shaman but am willing to reroll for the best fit for a group. Please PM if interested and we can network together and make this a lot more fun! [You must be logged in to view images. Qeynos side of the world is pretty dead due to poor porting - make your way to the Karanas and do "/who all dial" and ask someone in <Dial-a-Port> to give you a ride to East Commons - go bind in FP and you'll be near all the hot spots (Orcs, Ro, Oasis, High Keep, Guk, Befallen).

Seeing the East Commons spam will hit you square in the nostalgia bone as well - we have a thriving trade economy

Yea the barbarian shaman did not work out too well. Wanted to try something different but was quickly turned off when I saw it was pretty empty in ever frost and got frustrated getting taken out by the yellow conned wooly spiders/polar bears.

I went back to my roots and rolled lizzy necro, it is going WAY better to say the least. I am now level 5 but I have realized that I will not have access to EC tunnel when that time comes, any evil factions out there that can shed some light on how they manage around the KoS?

If it's too much of a pain I guess I can roll a gnome lock /shrug

or /who all "dial a port" then use a /tell [name] I'm new to this server and looking for a port to ___ from ___. Best to be near one of the druid rings when you do it. When you reach your destination find a player to bind you, if not the porting player.

Yeah, easy to find groups from East Commons. And if good aligned, Greater Faydark is another destination. If going to Gfay, and at nekid low level, I'd try to find a wizard port, will go directly to gfay rather than druid rings in butcher which can get you killed running to gfay w/o an escort at very low levels (drui will likely escort if asked). But wizard port at the spires in gfay can bind you on the spot before you get steamrolled by someones train ^^

Gfay start is usually Orc hill > Crushbone > Unrest > Mistmoore
Orc hill is spotty, a lot of vet players skip the first 5 levels using CB belt turn-ins. But you could start a hill group out of /ooc during peak time easily enough.
CB usually has 15-25 players during peak, and still some groups a bit during off hours.
Unrest is packed during peak time usually, and can be a wait for a group spot for yard trash.
MM always has a group, all hours, non-stop.

Hello Djinnoo!

I do not reckon we will meet anytime soon, but I thought I might share what has worked for my very worst bouts of loneliness. They are most frequently associated with feelings of abandonment, when the spirit of wolf leaves me :c

As a shaman you would have had an immediate solution from your 9th rank, but as a necromancer you have little choice but to befriend shaman, Druids or rangers, which may be difficult as a nasty lizard. Best of luck to you though and may Quellious peace be upon you!
