Default Large armor?

Hallo all,

I'm looking for places in which I can camp things like large raw-hide, large banded, or large bronze armor. I think I remember CT having some large armor? Or are there any quests in which these are rewards? Its for an ogre sk and we so far are only lvl ~5 so raw-hide would be our best bet no doubt.

My friends and I are playing without any community help (refusing free gear/money etc.) which is why I'm not simply buying something much better for cheap. The bronze is also definitely a fashion quest.

Ty for any info!

Banded is player made, and with like 200 platinum, you can work your way up the trivial combines until you have a decent chance of making the various pieces. (start by sharpening all rusty weapons you get with 1cp sharpening stones).... Large bronze only drops off of like one ogre in western karana and the ogres in najena its definitely the rarest of the bronze armors. I definitely commend your no-handout approach to the game but a lack of community help is really a gray line...if someone is killing oggok guards and not looting them are you going to leave all that platinum to rot? What about selling items you've acquired for a good price?

Thanks for the info and good points about the gray lines. We will likely enter the economy etc. At higher levels, we are just trying to make it as classic as possible. Basically we are pretending that we started our characters the day the server went live (but with Kunark and velious, which is unavoidable). In the beginning no one would have a green jade broadsword available for 100 plat hehe. But maybe once we reach level 40 it is not impossible to buy items like that for a cheaper price.

I've found a bunch of large raw-hide armor from the orcs on the "orc road" in the Oasis of Marr. You might have luck with the Dervishes in South Ro - the larger ones.

Thanks! We will have to try that out. Fond memories at orc highway.

Sewing kit. Hunt spiders to get skillups. Patchwork armor is trivial 26 (kill the bears for large)... studded armor is 56 and reinforced is 108. That is very classic...

Large ringmail drops off of the gnolls in highpass / maybe the ogres in najena. The only place that I know of where you can find large bronze is the ogre camp in West karana

Some of the bigger skeletons in Najena drops the armour you are looking for (Large, Greaters and so on I suspect).

The ogre guards also drop large ringmail as I recall.

If you want large bronze you need to kill the guard captain or Officer Groosh.

Good luck!
